1978 – Born in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan
1998 – Studied abroad at the Frauenau Summer Academy in Germany
2001 – Graduated from the Glass Art Course, Department of Crafts, Faculty of Arts, Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts
2017 – Established the private studio Kota Glass on Notojima Island, Ishikawa Prefecture
