岐阜県で木工作家として活動するSOMAディレクター「川合　優」さんの作品です。
主に盆や家具、日常小物などを制作。

自然の美しさや木の魅力を伝えるため塗装をほとんど施さず、木地のもつ個性を活かした作品作りを心がけている。
また作家活動とともに、2016年には国産針葉樹を使ったブランド「SOMA」を設立。

こちらの商品は八角のシャープな形が柔らかな木目を引き立たせた屑入れです。他インテリアとして小物入れや様々な用途としてもおすすめいたします。

Waste Basket

A work by Masaru Kawai- director of SOMA and a woodworker based in Gifu Prefecture. He primarily creates trays, furniture, and everyday objects.

To convey the beauty of nature and the appeal of wood, he minimizes the use of coatings and strives to create works that highlight the natural character of the wood itself.

In addition to his work as an artist, he founded the brand “SOMA,” which uses Japanese conifer wood, in 2016.

This waste basket features a sharp octagonal shape that highlights the soft wood grain. It is also recommended for use as interior décor, as a small storage container, and for a variety of other purposes.
