These are Yunomi (Japanese handleless teacups) made of Yamanaka lacquerware, a traditional craft passed down since the Azuchi-Momoyama period in Yamanaka Onsen. These are collaboration pieces between Gato Mikio and Hanamurasaki. Each piece is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans.

The carefully crafted thin, flared rim provides a smooth feel and enhances the aroma of the tea. It features an organic form that combines high functionality with elegant design.

It is made from zelkova wood, which does not easily become hot even when filled with warm beverages. Its lightweight feel, unique to lacquerware, makes it suitable for anyone.
